House of Light

A large-scale public mural on Roker Pier lighthouse used augmented reality to display residents' submitted happy memories as glowing virtual bottles. These memories only illuminated when lightning struck globally. This poetic, co-created digital layer linked individual joy to global natural events, fostering pride and shared wonder. The work became a celebrated local talking point, leading to further community and civic engagement.
