Doddz Presents
A touring projection show, written for the building it lands on.
Doddz Presents is a projection mapping format that tours from building to building. Every edition is written for its host, so the architecture becomes the stage rather than a screen.
The first edition is The Ballroom, on the Blackpool Tower building for Lightpool Festival, 21 to 31 October 2026. A portal opens on the facade, performers from the Doddz world step through, and the whole front of the building transforms around them. The figures are driven by a motion captured acrobat and dancer, and a web AR layer lets the audience carry the fireworks off the building and onto their own phone.
After Blackpool the show travels to Gwangju in South Korea and to San Francisco. Each new edition gets its own name and its own story, built around the city and the building that hosts it.
